Jeffrey Tai

Raised in Taiwan, Coach Jeff Played various team sports but specialized in basketball in high school. His passion for helping people improve in fitness was fueled further after helping a bunch of fellow athletes exceed their own athletic expectations during his high school years.

During and after college, Coach Jeff continued on his quest to learn from other top strength coaches and tested out various concepts/methods of improving different components of fitness on himself before implementing them on athletes in various ages and levels.

Coach Jeff's hobbies include playing pick-up basketball, rock climbing, practicing ninja warrior skills, hiking, and cooking.

"Nothing fires me up more than witnessing people smash their goals. Life is all about gains. Gains in fitness can definitely lead to gains in other areas in life because of the confidence and mental fortitude gained from it. If I can progress, then so can you! Let's all improve together!"

  • High School Varsity Basketball at Morrison Christian Academy seasons: 2002-2004
  • Won 2nd place trophy in the men's 187lb weight division for the Feel the Steel Crossfit Chula Vista Olympic Weightlifting Competition in 2012
  • 2015 Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association (UNAA) Area Qualifier Competitor 15th place (MROC)
  • 2016 UNAA Area Qualifier Competitor 4th Place (The Mountain, El Cajon)
  • 2017 UNAA Area Qualifier Competitor 16th Place (MROC)
